About Me
Coming from a family of physicians, pursuing a career in medicine felt like a natural path. After graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1982, I was drawn to a holistic approach to care and established a solo practice in Kelmscott, where I worked for over 20 years.
As a traditional family GP, my work included home and hospital visits, obstetrics, and minor surgical procedures. I have a clinical interest in complementary medicine, including acupuncture, and an interest in Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine).
I also have an interest in emerging therapies, including cannabinoid-based treatments, within current Australian regulatory frameworks.
Recognising the importance of continuity of care for older patients, I have spent the past 15 years primarily working in residential aged care facilities.
Please note, Dr Siva Krishnan operates his own medical services business at Next Practice Claremont. All correspondence should be directed to the individual practitioner themselves via the Next Practice Claremont email claremont@nextpracticehealth.com
